Refund and Revision Policy for The Interchange

Last Updated: November 28, 2025

The Interchange provides beginner friendly branding, simple websites, and educational support at an accessible price. Because we work quickly and deliver real work from the start, we have a clear Refund and Revision Policy to protect both you and us.

This policy applies to all services offered by The Interchange.

1. Refund Eligibility

A. Before Work Begins

You may request a full refund only if no work has started on your project.

B. After Work Has Begun

Once we begin creating, designing, researching, or setting up your tools:

  • Refunds become partial only

  • The refund amount will be based on how much work has already been completed

  • If the project is more than halfway completed, refunds will not be issued

We always aim to be fair and transparent.

C. Completed Projects

There are no refunds on completed projects.

A project is considered completed once the final files, website access, or deliverables have been handed over.

2. Revision Policy

To protect accessibility and keep pricing fair for everyone:

A. Included Revisions

Each service includes a reasonable number of revisions, which will be explained at the start of your project. Revisions cover:

  • Text edits

  • Small design adjustments

  • Minor layout changes

B. What Is Not a Revision

These items count as new work, not a revision:

  • Full redesigns or overhauls

  • Changing your brand direction after work begins

  • Changing your color palette or style direction after approval

  • Adding new pages, new sections, or major new functions

  • Restarting a project because you changed your mind

  • Swapping platforms once work has begun

New work will require a new fee.

C. Additional Revisions

If you need revisions beyond what is included:

  • Extra revisions may be billed at an agreed hourly rate

  • You will be notified before any extra charge is applied

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all needed materials in a timely manner

  • Communicate clearly and respond within reasonable time frames

  • Review drafts carefully before approving them

  • Understand that delays in responding may extend timelines

We cannot keep projects open indefinitely.

4. Project Inactivity

If we do not hear from you for 14 days, the project may be marked inactive.

Inactive projects may require a restart fee, depending on how much work is left.

If we do not hear from you for 30 days, the project is considered abandoned.

Abandoned projects are not eligible for refunds.

5. Delivery and Acceptance

Once final files or website access are delivered, you are responsible for:

  • Saving your files

  • Managing your website

  • Maintaining your platform subscriptions

We will help you learn your tools during the education portion of your package, but we do not provide ongoing free maintenance.
